I have known a family in Kandy for many years who have started a “bed and breakfast” with our help.
The circumstances are typical of life in Sri Lanka. The house is clean, there is a shared bathroom with shower and toilet and you will be provided with traditional meals.
This will cost € 15,- per day and all meals are included. It will cost € 100,- for one week.
Extra cost:
One kilo washing will cost 100 Rupees (about € 0,48).
WIFI will cost for 1 GB 250 Rupees (about € 1,21) and for 5 GB you pay 750 Rupees (about € 3,64)
